GamerX MTA Race Map Editor Info
This page has brief instructions for installing and using MTA Map Editor. Creating maps is a lot easier in MTA Map Editor and the MAP files you create can be converted for use on GamerX (SAMP).
Step 1
Click here to download MTA Race (it includes the Map Editor).
Step 2
Install MTA Race in the default directory (when I tried to install it in another directory it would not work but maybe it was just my PC). During the installation make sure you leave the "MTA Editor" box ticked.

Step 3
Start MTA Race using the shortcut it creates.
Step 4
Wait for MTA Race to start.

Step 5
When the MTA Race main menu appears click on the Map Editor button.

Step 6
The MTA Race Map Editor appears... you can now start a new MAP or load an existing one.

Trouble Shooting
If you get the following message:

Then click here to view instructions on how to fix it (you must create some directories and copy some files to them).
Basically do this...
1. rename the "editor" folder to "map_editor"
2. copy the models folder from MTA San Andreas\mods\map_editor\ to MTA San Andreas\mods\race\
3. create \mods\map_editor\maps
